How does this service work?
Our service uses the built-in notification systems for each eco system (iOS, Windows Phone and Android). Combined with a client app for each eco system the user can receive direct messages to his/her phone. We send a message to a specific device on the eco system. This message contains instructions on how to show the specific message. Messages are delivered over Internet rather than cellular network.
Are notifications always delivered?
Eco systems like iOS, Windows Phone and Android say that you should not rely 100% of their Notification service. We have not seen any issues so far but to work around this we have provided syncing features outside of the existing Notification services.
When are notifications delivered?
Notifications are dependent on Internet access. When you have that they are in most cases delivered instantly.
Are the client apps free?
Yes, all client apps are free to download and install.
Why are client apps free?
We believe that each end user/receiver of messages should not pay for the client.
Is the service free?
Yes, it is free. We might charge for some features or heavy usage in the future.
Are my data/messages secure?
Yes, optionally, you can encrypt messages using an implementation SHA256 encryption. To encrypt, just check the checkbox “Encrypt” when sending.
